During the autumn of 2019, former Tongan international and Wigan Warriors rugby league player, Paul Koloi, hosted an event in south London to celebrate the 2019 Rugby Union World Cup - Japan. The event became known as ‘Little Tonga’ as Paul (assisted by family and friends), drew upon many aspects of his cultural background and heritage to create a vibrant atmosphere of togetherness and inclusivity. It was a rewarding if exhausting experience that led to Paul suffering an aortic dissection. n
