Description: I was supposed to see this one from 35,000 feet. But it wasn't mean't to be.Our eclipse flight was abruptly canceled at the last minute. We had to scramble to find an observing spot on the ground. We found one. This video shows the totally eclipsed sun at 1 degree above the Andes Mountains in front of Lago Argentino in Patagonia. From this location - at 1000m above sea level - we bathed in the unearthly light of the Moon's umbra for about 2:40.For more on eclipse chasing visit www.eclip
