My first experiment as Director Camera. Using a Canon XL1, I followed young artist Vrnda Daktor in the creation of her art project 'Silent Passage'. I enjoyed the freedom of working alone with no commitment to a particular slot or delivery. But half way through editing I showed a rough cut to two local stations and both said they would take a finished half hour. And so Silent Passage was broadcast on the BBC one Christmas Eve.
