Description: Hitesh Modi and Subhash Modi are the only father-son duo to play/officiate in an international cricket match as a batter and an umpire respectively. The first time this happened was in a match between Kenya and West Indies in August 2001. They featured in a total of 3 matches, all occurring at the two stadiums in Nairobi and the father gave the son out twice. The first instance happened in the first ODI between Kenya and Bangladesh in 2006, Subhash gave his son out caught behind.
