_sheetala-ashtami-2024-scientific-reason124boldsky.webp "शीतलाष्टमी के दिन घर में चूल्हा नहीं जलाया जाता है। एक दिन पहले ही सारा भोजन बनाकर रख लिया जाता है। फिर दूसरे दिन यानी पूजा वाले दिन सुबह उठकर माता की पूजा उसी भोजन से की जाती है। घर के सभी व्यक्ति भी शीतल भोजन ही खाते हैं। इस दिन घर में चूल्हा नहीं जलता, ताजा खाना अगली सुबह से ही किया जाता है। बिहार में तो शीतलाष्टमी के दिन एक दिन पहले बने कढ़ी और चावल खाने की परंपरा है। चावल को पर्व से एक दिन पहले पानी में रख देते हैं और अगले दिन छानकर प्रसाद के रूप में ग्रहण करते हैं। गर्म तेल और छोंकने वाली चीजें रोगों को बढ़ावा देने वाली मानी जाती हैं इस कारण एक दिन पहले बनी हुई चीजों का भोग लगाया जाता है। शीतला अष्टमी के दिन बासी खाना क्यों खाते है ? <br/> <br/>On the day of Shitalashtami, stale food is eaten. On the day of Shitalashtami, the stove is not lit in the house. All the food is prepared a day in advance. Then on the next day i.e. the day of puja, after waking up in the morning, the mother is worshiped with the same food. Everyone in the house also eats cold food. On this day the stove is not lit in the house, fresh food is eaten from the next morning. In Bihar, there is a tradition of eating curry and rice prepared a day before Shitalashtami. Rice is kept in water a day before the festival and the next day it is filtered and taken as Prasad.
