Description: I would like to share a tool I created while working on a personal project. The task I aimed to solve was to convert numerous assets into .usd files, recreate their corresponding materials as MaterialX, and properly assign them. The task was solved in two steps: firstly, extracting all the data about geometry, materials, and textures and saving it in a .json file, and secondly, creating a template based on this data.
