Saundersfoot native Daisy Duke Coleman is on a mission to make a difference - and conquer Everest to raise funds for a good cause.<br/>On May 1, Daisy will be taking part in her first major charity fundraising event and hiking to Everest Base Camp in aid of the Armed Forces Para Snowsports Team (AFPST) - an independent charity, registered in the UK, that uses the restorative and transforming power of para-snowsports to accelerate and support the recovery and welfare of our wounded, injured and sick military personnel and veterans. The charity relies solely on donations and is 100% voluntary led.<br/>After being medically discharged from the Armed Forces, Daisy has gone on to experience multiple successes including being a professional P1 powerboat racer having been crowned multiple times champion alongside her brother Sam who now races in the Electric E1 Boat Racing series, for one of the world’s most successful sports stars, seven-times American Football Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.<br/>Having hung up her race boots and returning to Pembrokeshire to support the family business and pursue her charitable ambitions in the locality, Daisy embodies the unwavering spirit of resilience and determination in taking on such an extraordinary challenge to raise funds for the AFPST by embarking on a courageous journey to Everest Base Camp. <br/>Daisy has just returned from AFPST’s Winter Endeavour in Colorado which saw 14 international athletes join the AFPST cohort for an Invictus Games Foundation camp in advance of the first Invictus Winter Games being held in Vancouver-Whistler, Canada in 2025. <br/>The hallmark Winter Games event will mark a decade of successful Invictus Games whereby over 500 wounded, injured and sick (WIS) veterans and service personnel will experience the power of competitive sports and proudly represent their nation on an international level against 25 nations in total. <br/>Daisy, as an active member of the snowboarding team, turned her feet to Nordic skiing to take advantage of the high terrain and maximise the training opportunity ahead of the Everest trek.<br/>With each arduous event Daisy tackles, she aims to inspire others by pushing the boundaries of what is perceived as possible. It means he won't cut this weekend.<br/><br/>Spiranac was not impressed by Johnson's behavior and took to social media to hit out at him. <br/><br/>She wrote: 'The patrons at Augusta are unbelievably supportive and mild-mannered.<br/><br/>'You can’t find a more pleasant environment to play golf in. The fact ZJ said this proves he’s softer than baby poop. Such a bad look.'<br/><br/>Speaking after his round, Johnson apologized and insisted he was swearing at himself out of frustration.<br/><br/>He said: 'After my putt for double bogey? Or after my putt for triple - I guess it doesn't matter. I don't understand the situation at all. What are they saying that I did or said?<br/><br/>'That I swore at the patrons? That's laughable. That's completely laughable. I can't hear the patrons, number one. <br/><br/>'Number two, I just made a triple bogey on the 12th hole that is going to make me miss the cut, which at the time I knew was pretty sensitive in the sense that I needed to keep making pars.<br/><br/>'If I've said anything, which I'm not going to deny, especially if it's on camera, one, I apologize, and two, it was fully directed towards myself entirely because I can't hear anything behind me. Does that make sense?'<br/><br/>Johnson is a former Masters champion. He won the Green Jacket in 2007 after narrowly beating Tiger Woods and South African duo Retief Goosen and Rory Sabbatini.<br/><br/>The 48-year-old also won The Open in 2015 and has wracked up 26 wins as a professional golfer.<br/><br/>Despite his success, it is not the first time Johnson has clashed with golf fans this season.<br/><br/>At the typically rowdy Waste Management Open in Phoenix in February, he was seen to be fuming at a group for making too much noise. <br/><br/>While it's not clear why the American became so enraged, he was filmed saying: 'I'm just sick of this. Just shut up!' <br/><br/>Speaking after his round that day, Johnson said: 'You're hitting me at a very emotional point right now, so if I were to say if I'm gonna come back, I'd probably say no. But at the same time, I have no idea.'")
