On Friday 3 July 2015 a very special music event was held at Aldridge Community Centre, Walsall. The BENefit Gig was inspired by Ben Sambrook, a student from Aldridge School who died last year aged just 14, after a 7 year battle with a brain tumour. nnThis is the second year that the BENefit Gig has been held, the first one was staged in February 2014 only 10 days before Ben passed away, and it was his wish for the event to continue for young people to attend and to give local musicians a chance
