Description: 2012, in the months leading to the December presidential elections in Ghana, the atmosphere was tense and it seemed like the country was on the verge of civil unrest and violence. Against the background that other west African nations had descended into post election violence and civil war, a number of civil society organizations embarked on a campaign to promote peace in the country. The Ark Foundation commissioned a documentary where the grandmothers of the nation appeal for peace.
