For several days each week, as I quarantine in Potomac, Maryland, I have been recording the sounds around me at 6:34pm and used each entry as basis for a musical work and/or sound world. Eventually, the project has grown to include sound recordings from friends and family in quarantine all over the world: from New York to Dallas to San Francisco; from Bangor, Wales, to Perth, Australia; from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to my beloved hometown of Nairobi, Kenya (of which I dearly miss).
