Re-familiarizing myself with mental ray for Maya. Keyframed a full revolution over 4secs so it can be looped. Render time could have been optimized more but it was about 4-5mins per frame on an i7 930 (though cores-1, so I could still game). Final gather accuracy at 300, point density left at 1, and 250000 photons emitted from a spotlight.nnThis is my first upload and to my surprise it seems regular Vimeo users have 1080p video reduced to 720p. o_O I've already uploaded the 1080p version on Yout
