I picked up the Tascam iXZ to record my XLR microphones directly to my iPhone 5. Mainly this will be used as a backup device, but depending on the quality, you never know....nnThis video compares the Tascam iXZ, Tascam DR-40 (simlar to the Zoom H4n) and the USB M-Audio Fast Track.
