Description: In 2018, Rahaf, a Syrian architecture student in Russia, narrated three versions of a strong memory about authority to Farrah, a visiting artist in town. In order of fluency, Rahaf spoke in Arabic, English, and Russian about something that happened to her at school in 2011 in Syria. Farrah transcribed the English and Russian, but Rahaf wrote out her own version of the Arabic.
