Description: A cartoon version of the lifecycle of HIV created as part of the CAPSID project, a collaboration with Prof Greg Towers (UCL). The video shows how virus particles attach to a host cell and trick the cell's sensors in order for the viral capsid to enter. There follows a journey through the hostile environment of the cytoplasm, which innately senses the foreign genetic material of the virus and tries to kill it.
