En esta charla presentaremos una forma de modificar el firmware de un teléfono satélital (Inmarsat IsatPhonePro) usando solamente un cable USB. Sumado a comprometer por completo la seguridad del dispositivo, las modificaciones permiten leer y escribir frames directamente sobre cualquier capa del sistema de comunicación del GMR-2 (GEO Mobile Radio, GEO viene de Geostationary Earth Orbit), permitiendo al ususario inyectar y/o husmear en los frames, sin tener que recurrir a ningún equipo adicio
