It has a bas-relief sign on its truncated façade which says: “Lachine Rapids Hydraulic and Land Co. 1896”. The Lachine Rapids Hydraulic and Land Company (LRH the electrical superintendent’s office was at 38 Victoria Square (Souvenir, 1904 p. 78).
