In my PhD research I have studied the multiple ways in which young people act in transnational spheres. The core of my study has been the positive actions for democratic changes that the young people carry out in the transnational political meetings. While focusing on the positive energy, I have turned a blind eye to violence – even though it requires a lot of courage to criticize the system, to act in order to serve the world better, to work for more democratic cosmopolitan structures.
