This piece, “Swallowed by Sound” is about the experience of seeing live music. I began working on the project while on fall break in Texas where I visited friends and saw a whole lot of live music. Inspired by these shows, this animation is a very abstract depiction of a show. I started with the spinning boxes which signify big ceiling speakers, then made the little jumping/swaying ellipses to represent people in the crowd.
