Let's get started!<br/><br/>Ingredients <br/><br/>For the Aloo Matar Curry:<br/>- 3 medium potatoes (peeled and diced) <br/>- 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen) <br/>- 2 tablespoons oil ️<br/>- 1 large onion (finely chopped) <br/>- 2 tomatoes (chopped) <br/>- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste <br/>- 2 green chilies (sliced) ️<br/>- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds <br/>- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds <br/>- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder <br/>- 1 teaspoon red chili powder ️<br/>- 1 teaspoon ground coriander <br/>- 1 teaspoon garam masala <br/>- Salt to taste <br/>- Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish) <br/><br/>For the Rice:<br/>- 2 cups basmati rice <br/>- 4 cups water <br/>- 1 teaspoon salt <br/>- 1 tablespoon oil or ghee ️<br/><br/>Instructions <br/><br/>Prepare the Aloo Matar Curry:<br/><br/>1. Heat the Oil:<br/> - In a large pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Let them sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant. ️<br/><br/>2. Sauté the Onions:<br/> - Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until they become golden brown. <br/><br/>3. Add Ginger-Garlic Paste:<br/> - Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a couple of minutes until the raw smell disappears. <br/><br/>4. Cook the Tomatoes:<br/> - Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy. <br/><br/>5. Add the Spices:<br/> - Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, ground coriander, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the oil starts to separate from the masala. ️<br/><br/>6. Add the Potatoes:<br/> - Add the diced potatoes to the pan and mix well to coat them with the spice mixture. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. ➡️<br/><br/>7.
