Description: This map shows the spread of railway and tube stations throughout Greater London from 1837 to 2010. It is not a complete data set, as it only includes existing stations and excludes any that were decommissioned. It also uses the modern locations for handful of stations that moved to a new location. Early railways that were later incorporated into the tube network, such as the District line to Upminster, only appear on the map in the year they became tube stations. nnThe data is a combination of
