Just like the Taycan Turbo GT, Four Rings is putting the finishing touches on a new flagship. It is called RS E-Tron GT Performance, reminiscent of gasoline models such as the RS6 and RS7 Performance versions.<br/><br/>Just as the current RS E-Tron GT won't be as intense as the Taycan Turbo S, it won't be as harsh as the Zuffenhausen model. However, there will be a power increase over the 637 hp and 612 lb-ft offered by the current range-topping. Audi is being coy about details (it's a teaser, after all) but is sharing images of a camouflaged car with ceramic brakes hiding behind aero wheels.<br/><br/>The revamped front and rear engines are unlikely to match the Taycan Turbo S's 938 horsepower, let alone the fierce Turbo GT's whopping 1,019 horsepower. We know that Audi engineers made changes not only to the powertrain but also to the battery pack for longer range. For reference, the new Taycan with Performance Battery Plus has a usable energy content of 98.6 kWh, while the base model has a net battery pack of 83.6 kWh.<br/><br/>Charging speed has also increased; This is no surprise considering the latest Taycan can now get 320 kW of power instead of 270 kW. Elsewhere, Audi has developed a new suspension system consisting of four individually active double-valve shock absorbers. This more responsive hardware will be adapted from the new Porsche Panamera. On the Audi, the suspension has been tuned for greater comfort compared to the sharper Taycan.<br/><br/>Audi plans to introduce the 2025 E-Tron GT later this year. The wheelbase extension gives the pocket-sized SUV a seven-seat option for the first time.<br/><br/>Citroen officially unveiled the new C3 Aircross today and, as expected, it's a mix of Stellantis products we're already familiar with. It ditches the curves, adopting the boxy design language already seen on the smaller C3 hatchback, which shares the updated 'Smart' CMP platform, and Citroen's controversial new corporate logo features proudly on the grille, whose mesh is patterned after the brand's double-striped grille.<br/><br/>And there are similarities with the South American market Aircross introduced 12 months ago, although that model features different door handles and a more traditional Citroen nose.<br/><br/>In terms of packaging, the Aircross closely mirrors the recently introduced Opel Frontera, which also uses the same architecture and will compete directly with Citroen for buyers across Europe. Neither company has revealed the wheelbase measurements for either car (they'll likely be the same), but Citroen says the Aircross is the largest in its class and that's why it can fit a third row of seats inside; This is something Opel hasn't done yet.<br/><br/>We know that overall length has increased by 240 mm (9.5 inches) over the old Aircross, with overall bumper-to-bumper length rising to 4,390 mm (172.8 inches), and Citroen says the more upright rear window means third-row passengers won't have to lower their heads .<br/><br/>Like all its small SUV rivals, the Aircross has zero real off-road purpose, despite what its ground clearance, roof bars and body cladding would have you believe. Citroen has not detailed the powertrain setups at this stage, but says combustion, hybrid and electric options will all be available.<br/><br/>This means we can expect to find the group's 1.2-liter turbo engine under the hood, both with and without 48-volt mild hybrid support.
