In 1989 Kerrie Le Gore and I visited Ray Beattie’s place (RIP) to record his backyard in Abbottsford and later wondered down to see John Wayne at the Laird Hotel. nnRay passed away in 1999 after a long battle with cancer. He is still missed by all who knew him. Ray was a close friend of mine and was a security doorman at the Xchange, Mainframe and later 3 Face’s. The Laird is still going of course but has gone through many changes since 1989.nnThe quality of this video fluctuates dramaticall
