Speaking in the media ‘spin room’ after the debate concluded in Atlanta, Georgia, Republican Sen. Marco Rubio said that Biden, the Democratic candidate, had been incoherent at times and that he wondered who was making decisions in the White House. Biden’s backers, meanwhile, said that he had won on issues of substance in the debate, and that Trump had shown himself to be dishonest. Mary Trump, the former president’s niece, told reporters it would be an 'unthinkable tragedy' if Trump was re-elected.
