If I were to become the MP for a day,I would contribute to the overlooked issues with respect to advocacy for women’s rights and dignity. Whether in marriage, where women are not given as much dignity as they deserve. Their right to property. Even in the workplaces women are treated as lesser than men and their colleagues. Firstly, I don’t think there’s enough representation of women in the Indian political sphere and to reduce that, more women should come forward and participate in politics. <br/><br/>My name is Shifa Mirza and I’m from Jaffrabad.

_young-girl-dies-and-two-women-injured-after-being-hit-by-car-in-birmingham.webp "A young girl has died and two women injured after a car ploughed into them on a residential street in Birmingham. <br/><br/>Emergency services rushed to Upper Highgate Street, in the Highgate area of the city, after four pedestrians were mown down at 9.45pm yesterday (Sun).<br/><br/>Paramedics battled to save the child but she was confirmed dead at the scene while two women were taken to hospital with serious injuries.<br/><br/>A second child was also assessed by ambulance crews but did not require any further treatment. <br/><br/>West Midlands Ambulance Service said three ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor and two critical care paramedics were sent to the scene.<br/><br/>A service spokeswoman said: “On arrival, crews found a car and four pedestrians had been involved in a collision.<br/><br/>“A child, female, was in a critical condition and ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support.<br/><br/>“Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, she could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.<br/><br/>“Two women were treated by medics for serious, but not life-threatening, injuries and were conveyed on blue lights to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.<br/><br/>“A fourth patient, a child, was assessed by ambulance crews but was not injured and so was discharged at the scene.”")
