On April 23, the cyber cell of Maharashtra police registered an FIR (First Information Report) in the Ranveer Singh ‘deepfake’ video case. The case was filed against an X user for allegedly uploading a ‘deepfake’ or manipulated video of the actor. In the video, Ranveer Singh can be seen making an appeal to vote for Congress.
