When the idea for Kombi Sessions was first bounced around, it was without doubt that Cashew Chemists would be the first band to open the series. The boys - Yuji Kumagai (vocals), Brian Chia (guitar), Elliot Sng (bass) and Zachary Chia (drums) - have been blazing the local music scene with their revivalist sound.
