Nvidia announced plans to split its stock 10-for-1, meaning existing shareholders will receive 10 shares of Nvidia for every 1 they own at a price of 10% of the market value. Historically, stocks tend to perform well after a stock split, with an average return of more than 25% in the 12 months following a split. Nvidia also announced a significant increase to its dividend, hiking it from $395 million annually to nearly $1 billion annually.
