Description: This was rendered with Blender 2.5 Beta in FullHD. 10 gigabyte of floating point displacement data and textures, generated with Blender's original Ocean Simulator, were needed for this 40 seconds sequence. I used OpenEXR and Pixar's lossy compression method to store the data, since PNG or JPG hadn't the necessary precision. The render time per frame was around 1m:30s on a 12 core system.nnhttp://www.KostackStudio.de
