Description: https://tomverbeure.github.io/2020/02/22/In-The-Lab-Magnet-Wire-Soldering.htmlnnI used to make prototype board with regular wire, but these kind of wires are a pain to strip.nnRecently, I've switched to AWG 26 magnet wire: they are typically used to wind transformers or electromagnet. Instead of a plastic insulator, they have an enamel varnish.nnIf you dip the wire a few seconds in a blob of solder, the enamel boils off and the resulting wire is very easy to solder.
