Description: The 1952 President of the O.U.B.C., my father L.A.F. Stokes, arranged for his crew to be filmed for training purposes at half speed to analyse their performance. The training film is at Henley with the crew boating from Leander Club.At 5:45 is the Boat Race itself, which took place in a snowstorm on 29 March 1952, filmed by Paramount Newsreel.
