Both racers died before emergency services arrived at the scene of the crash.<br/><br/>Following the fatal accident, the rally which was organized by the Hibiscus Coast Motorsport Club, was canceled. Both the deceased racers were well-respected and much-loved members of the sport.<br/>Despite his young age, Brooklyn Horan was a talented driver, already a star in rallying, off-road and circuit racing<br/><br/>An experienced rally competitor both as driver and co-driver, Tyson Zane Jemmett was the 2014 New Zealand Central Region Rally vice-champion.
