While Harvey has identified herself as the woman being depicted in the show, neither Gadd or Netflix have directly confirmed her claims. Netflix has since responded to the suit in a statement to Sky News, saying 'We intend to defend this matter vigorously and to stand by Richard Gadd's right to tell his story.'
