The legendary artist also served as the frontman for 80's band 'Big Black,' as well as 'Shellac,' who is set to release their first album in a decade next week. Last surviving MC5 member Dennis Thompson dies at 75. Thompson's death comes shortly after bandmate Wayne Kramer's passing in February, and manager John Sinclair's death last month. Thompson was the last surviving member of the band and the only one to see their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which took place just weeks ago. The drummer reportedly suffered a heart attack back in April and was in the recovery process. Jon Stewart to host The Weekly Show podcast with Comedy Central.
