This was the daytime launch of United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex (SLC)-41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida on December 18, 2016.nDue to the unique proximity of this launch pad to the beach, I purposely wanted to shoot from a location where I could put people in the foreground.It was quite windy, salty, and sandy, being in such an unprotected location, but worth it.This location has the added advantage that the rocket goes nearly straight-up over head
