Studio Wildcard launched two huge expansions for ARK: Survival Ascended. The Scorched Earth expansion map, a free download for all ASA owners, is filled with six desert-themed biomes teeming with dangerous new creatures including Deathworms and the ultimate desert steed: the Fasolasuchus. Each Tall Tale delivers unique and helpful creatures and vehicles like the monolithic Oasisaur & Trains on Scorched Earth -- with more to come in Aberration and Extinction.<br/><br/>Additionally, Scorched Earth Expansion Map launched as a reimaged version of the original desert-themed area now developed in Unreal Engine 5. Scorched Earth takes ARK players to an entirely new land, composed of six unique, desert themed biomes – dunes, high desert, mountains, canyons, badlands and oasis – each with their own aesthetic and ecosystem. Littered with ruins, geysers, and intricate ancient cave systems, survivors will find a whole new frontier to explore and master.
