Rescue Swimmers was a short documentary I shot, edited and produced in 2005 while attending the Poynter Institute for Journalist's, Visual Edge, Visual Reporting workshop. I wanted to do a story on the U.S. Coast Guard Rescue swimmers who are located in St. Petersburg who just came back from rescue efforts in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. I was on base for about 4 hours during a day and shot and recorded some amazing stories. Our time length for the final project was two minutes. The vid
