Let no scribe be harmed or any witness. For if you do so, indeed, it is [grave] disobedience in you. And fear Allāh. And Allāh teaches you. And Allāh is Knowing of all things. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 282 (Urdu Translation): “خرید و فروخت کے وقت بھی گواہ مقرر کر لیا کرو اور ﴿یاد رکھو کہ﴾ نہ تو لکھنے والے کو نقصان پہنچایا جائے نہ گواہ کو اور اگر تم یہ کرو تو یہ تمہاری کھلی نافرمانی ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ سے ڈرو، اللہ تمہیں تعلیم دے رہا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز کو خوب جاننے والا ہے ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC).
