I finally received my new 1DX MkII last week and wanted to test out some of the new features on it; one of those being the HFR (100fps). As is often the case my wife and son made for good test subjects. This was shot in about half an hour one afternoon while the family were playing in the garden. nnAlong with the HFR this was also a good initial test of the Face Detection Auto-Focus which, for the most part, faired very well especially shooting wide open on a long lens. nnAll shot handheld with
