Description: Life After Terror is a short film featuring women from Borno State, Nigeria, sharing their experiences with the on-going insurgency. In the film, Hauwa Haman, who works as a translator and has experienced attacks by Boko Haram, Falmata Bunu, and Precious Samuel both of whom were abducted by Boko Haram, and escaped, share their stories. The film is supported by a 2018 Early Career Grant by the National Geographic Society. It was completed in 2020.
