Description: Inspired by Paul Laurence Dunbar’s poem “We Wear the Mask”, a pop-up mural on an RTA wall in the Buckeye-Woodhill neighborhood is an artistic expression of what it means to wear the mask today and sheds light on the suppressed trauma of people of color as they wear the mask of conformity. In this film, GCRTA explores the transformative power of art, transportation and place making in urban communities.
