Baritone John McCarthy and soprano Melissa Mino lead a cast that includes three autonomous robots, mischief-making Cupids, the Goddess Venus, a serpentine corps de ballet, and a chorus in the conclusion of GALATEA_RESET, an opera by Maurice Wright and Rolf Lakaemper. Set in an artist's studio in present day Philadelphia, the piece uses projected video and laptop computers to create a connection to the ancient sacred grove of Act 1, and its mythical inhabitants.
