This was created for the Broadcasting Banquet to highlight our trip to the NAB and BEA conference.<br/><br/>The kids were great! One of my favorite trips. That year I had some of the best students in class attending with me. We all had a great time and wonderful experiences attending the BEA and NAB conference, then off to check out the attractions of the city.

Things have changed as technology continues to advance our vocation of broadcasting. My first visit in 1990 recordings were all tape for video and radio, television was SDTV, analog everything. and computers were too slow and expensive.<br/><br/>Attending NAB allowed me to see and prepare for what was next - HDTV to 4K, and now 8K, everything switched to digital, hardware and software upgrades, the list always changes.")
