Here is the first real stop frame animation I’ve worked on. It is an opener for a new BBC Pashto News channel to be aired in Afghanistan & Pakistan. The brief was to animate five Pashto speaking, Afghanis who each deliver a line describing what they want from the News service. These filmed interviews were then used as reference for my drawings and the animators stages, which had to be lip synced to the Pashto language.nnI worked with the animator Tabitha O’Connell and Rob Burrell, motion
