Description: Two points of clarification: first, I say at the 8.24 mark that you can skip Handbreak entirely if your sole resource are video files (such as Quicktime, MOV and AVI) – rather than DVDs – but this is a mistake. MPEG Streamclip does not recognize AVI files (or MKV files). So you would actually have to convert digital files that use these codecs with Handbreak before you can edit them in MPEG Streamclip (which I say earlier in the tutorial but then confuse the issue later on).
