So what exactly do I have planned for the Steam Version?<br/><br/>* A High Quality Front End: Rather than just booting up a ROM file I want to offer a high resolution front end with beautiful art work, recreation of the Bubble Frog title music, and bonus content.<br/>* Animated Intro: Working with the talented James Nutting (Animation above by him) I want to have a 10 second fully animated intro to the game inspired by the classic retro collections you could play on the likes of the PS2.<br/>* Fan Art Gallery: As a thank you to the highly supportive and motivating fans Bubble Frog has built up since its launch as a Game Boy title I want to include a Fan Art gallery so new players can see the love and talent of the fanbase who got Bubble Frog to where it is today!<br/>* Full Controller Support: Option to play the game with the button prompts in game replaced with PlayStation, Xbox, Keyboard, or even Steam Deck buttons.<br/>* Steam Deck Support: Being originally designed as a pick up and play title for the Game Boy it only makes sense to offer Steam Deck support. This means getting the game running on Linux as well as including the correct Button Prompts and of course making sure everything looks crisp and stunning on the Steam Deck's screen resolution.<br/>* Original Game Polish: The game already looks nice but what if it looked better? What was a surprise to many including myself is not only did the NES and Game Boy version become packaged in this re-release, but the unreleased Famicom version which was originally supposed to release in Japan but has never did until now! In this video I play through the unreleased Famicom version that Japan could have had all the way through. I should warn many of you viewers I end up having controller issues mid-gameplay and there are times when I used the rewind feature which is something the re-release has. I don't really know or think I notice any differences in my playthrough of this version other than just the text being japanese when the Professor calls Felix in the cutscenes but whatever differences you believe you find, it's whatever.
