With the new Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+ as a saloon and estate, the performance and sports car brand from Affalterbach is presenting two further plug-in hybrid models. They combine outstanding performance and driving dynamics with a long electric range.<br/>The combination of the 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line engine and the permanently excited E-synchronous machine generates a maximum system output of 430 kW (585 HP) and a maximum system torque of 750 Nm. The performance is correspondingly dynamic: acceleration from 0‑100 km/h takes place in 3.8 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 280 km/h (saloon with optional AMG Driver's Package). Up to 140 km/h are possible purely electrically.<br/>The 120-kW electric motor is integrated into the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission to save space. The high-power density of the hybrid power unit is achieved by the permanently excited internal rotor synchronous technology. The electric motor's maximum torque of 480 Nm is available from the first revolution and ensures high agility even when starting off. The traction battery with 400 volts has a gross capacity of 28.6 kWh and is installed in the rear under the trunk floor. The energy content that can be used every day is smaller at 21.22 kWh, as part of the energy is always reserved for boosting and thus high-performance driving. Nevertheless, the high-voltage battery enables an electric range of up to over 100 kilometres.

This April, Chamberlain Coffee inked a deal with 800 Target locations to sell ready-to-drink cans in flavors such as vanilla, cinnamon bun, salted caramel and mocha.<br/><br/>This year, Chamberlain Coffee collaborated with Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila on a Coachella pop-up to serve espresso martinis using her signature cold brew.<br/><br/>Even with her meteoric career, Chamberlain says her biggest challenge is not letting mistakes discourage her. “There are going to be ups and downs, there’s going to be shit that hits the fan,” she says. “You know what you have to do? Weighing in at 6600lbs and boasting a horsepower speed of 5,000, the vehicle was built by Perry Watkins from Buckinghamshire. After a night at the pub with friends, the idea of Oklahoma Willy was born. Perry told FutureStudiosCars: “We sit at the pub and come up with stupid ideas, I’ll then lock myself in the garage for five years and build it.” The owner of Perrywinkle Customs, Perry is no stranger to wild automotive creations. “It’s a bit like riding on top of a firework,” Perry explained. Taking around six years to build, Perry first bought a Rolls Royce Viper 535 jet engine, originally made in 1978. He stripped it down, polishing everything in aluminum, taking about two years to complete. Next, he added the after burner which took another six months work. Finally, he bought the VW pickup which had spent most of its life on a farm in Oklahoma, taking a further three years to finish. This rare and iconic vehicle is a prized possession of Perry, who doesn’t like to do something that has been done before.The top speed for the vehicle is 300mph, although the fastest Perry has gone is 157mph, an experience he describes as “exhilarating” but a “bit hairy”. The original engine sits in place making the vehicle street legal, providing you don’t fire up the jet. Perry describes the power as “one of the most incredible things you can ever experience.”")

This is one way in which Honda is pursuing its target of achieving carbon neutrality across all products and corporate activities by 2050.<br/><br/>As first shown at the 2024 Japan Mobility Show, the SUSTAINA-C Concept explores how society could be freed from the constraints of finite resources. It comes paired with the Pocket Concept, a compact motorcycle that can be stored in the luggage compartment and provide last mile mobility.<br/><br/>The panels are manufactured using recycled acrylic resin sourced from second-hand taillights to create exterior panels that do not require painting, allowing Honda to create a unique, unpainted finish that would not be possible with traditional materials. This material approach could reduce emissions during production by up to 45 per cent – partly via the recycled materials in use, but also in leaving the panels unpainted, which can account for as much as 80 per cent of the CO2 emissions from an automobile factory.<br/><br/>The model on show in Milan features a black and white marble effect, achieved by mixing colours with different melting points into the panels as they are moulded – leaving a marbling behind as the material settles into the mould.")
