Description: Giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs) doped with biotynilated and fluorescent lipids are held in place by aspiration using a micropipette. A streptavidin-coated bead is then trapped using an optical tweezer and brought to proximity with the GUV in order to form a streptavidin-biotin bond. The bead is then pulled away from the GUV creating a membrane nanotube in-between the GUV and the bead.nnRendered using Blender2.8 + AE
