Head coach Latricia Trammell said postgame that Brown’s performance was no surprise, saying she knew that when Jaelyn came in she would be an X-factor on this Dallas squad. <br/><br/>“Jaelyn has really stood out in practice, not only by the staff and I, but as well as her teammates,” said Trammell. “I knew what she was capable of and what I love about it is before she came, I told everyone that she was going to be that X-factor. And she hasn’t disappointed.”<br/><br/>The Indiana Fever opened the game with a 14-3 run, led by Clark’s three-point shooting. She sank four of eight threes in the first half alone. Dallas found its offensive rhythm towards the end of the quarter, with Brown taking charge of the offensive momentum.<br/><br/>Dallas secured its first lead with, rookie Jacy Sheldon’s, three-pointer with 2:08 remaining in the quarter. But the Fever’s fast-paced offense appeared to unsettle Dallas. Indiana went on a 13-7 run. But the Wings worked their way back from an eight-point deficit to tie at 62-62 in the opening minutes of the final quarter. <br/><br/>Clark had a shot clock violation in the last 24 seconds, turning the ball over to Dallas with the chance to take the victory. Ogunbowale did not take the opportunity lightly, running down the clock and hitting a crucial three to give Dallas a 79-76 lead with only three seconds left to secure the game. <br/><br/>UP NEXT: The Dallas Wings will remain at College Park Center for their final preseason matchup against the Chicago Sky on Wednesday, May 15th. _92.webp "A man living in his car claims he is being forced to choose between his beloved dogs and a permanent roof over his head.<br/><br/>Paul Growns became homeless in January 2022 and, despite working a full-time job, is still living out his car with his pets more than two years later.<br/><br/>Paul, who was born and raised in Maidstone, Kent, says he has not been offered temporary accommodation because the council say he is not in priority need—and almost all private temporary accommodation has a no pet-policy.<br/><br/>The 45-year-old says his two dogs, Max and Toby, are his lifeline and he is not prepared to re-home them or put them down just to get a permanent roof over his head.<br/><br/>He said: “Being an animal lover, you can’t separate yourself from your animals because they’re family and they’re like your children while your homeless, because if you didn’t have them, you’ve got no-one.<br/><br/>“Places don’t accept pets, so you have a choice you either stay homeless or re-home your pets.”<br/><br/>Paul is now urging more landlords and private providers to accept pets.<br/><br/>Maidstone Council said it has instructed its independent reviewer to consider Mr Growns’ request to overturn the decision to find him a non-priority and is “awaiting the outcome”.<br/><br/>The spokesperson also said the council is working with him and others to identify a suitable housing solution - however Paul says he does not feel supported at all.<br/><br/>He added: “I’ve been looking everywhere for an animal friendly place to stay.\")

Violence begets violence, but be warned, this one shows it all—the severing of body parts, the mutilation, the slow torture, the immolation—up close and in distressing detail.<br/><br/>At the heart of it all is Inspector Surekha Singh, a weather-beaten cop six months away from retirement, played with inimitable swag by Anil Kapoor. His official rank does not justify his acumen for his job and his spirit to do it well. Dissatisfied with his unremarkable, middling career, he wants to go out with a bang. And soon enough, an opportunity plays out. There’s a shootout involving cross-border drug smuggling and a local man is found hanging from a tree, inhumanly mutilated. Surekha spurs into action.")
