_rage-original-intro.webp "This is the original opening to the game before it was cut down to be more interactive. Most of the audio is temp and based off an animatic I made of the entire sequence. Some of this was used in several trailers for the game. I also added the entering/exiting the buggy animations as well as the Dan Hagar conversation while driving to the Hagar settlement in openGL. The lipsync and eye tracking is handled in-game, though we are able to bring the auto lipsync into Maya for viewing purposes.")

For most of the NPCs in the game we could not do full animation for all of their dialogs mostly due to memory constraints. Instead we would animate a few key lines and then break that into gestures which could be reused, or create seperate gestures entirely when needed. The animation I did for Dan also served as the basis for Captain Marshall's dialog. Each animation has to return to an idle an")
