This truly is a car for the few. <br/><br/>The F140HD engine equipping the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider is the new version of the iconic naturally-aspirated Ferrari V12, the purest expression of Ferrari’s soul: its peerless performance, powerful soundtrack and exclusivity make it the worthy heir to the legendary berlinetta sports cars that wrote some of the most glittering chapters in the marque’s history. The engine can unleash up to 830 cv while its max revs have been increased to 9500 rpm thanks to the adoption of innovative solutions. <br/><br/>The engine features modified components and software, some of which were already adopted on the open-top special series 812 Competizione A, ensuring it tops its category in terms of performance. To allow the V12 to rev so high, the engineers worked to reduce the weight and inertia of the engine’s components, adopting titanium con rods, which guarantee a saving of 40% in rotating mass compared to steel with the same mechanical resistance. A different aluminium alloy was used for the pistons, making them lighter than on previous applications. _watch-riders-finish-the-gruelling-cardiff-to-tenby-charity-carten-ride.webp "Around 2,000 riders have taken part in the gruelling Cardiff to Tenby charity Carten cycling event today (May 11) and phew...what a scorcher it was for the ride’s 20th anniversary!<br/>Carten is a unique 107 mile bike ride from the Welsh capital to the seaside town held annually in May.<br/><br/>Starting from one of the most iconic locations at Cardiff City Hall, riders were free to leave when ready, with a rolling start from 7.30 am.<br/>Friends and families were able to cheer those taking part in safely into Tudor Square, with the walled town closed to traffic from 12 noon to 8 pm.<br/>Cyclists then headed down to the harbour to the finish pavilion to collect their finishers T-shirt and complimentary meal, as well as well deserved refreshments at the longest bar in Tenby!<br/>The majority of riders this year are fundraising for the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity. <br/>“Last year the event raised an incredible £40,000 and we are hoping to exceed that this year!” said Morgan Bolton of Noah's Ark Children’s Hospital Charity.<br/><br/>©Pics: Gareth Davies Photography<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>")
